The Original Sin Desserts Bakery Cafe retail storefront closed, but we remain available for custom cake orders, catering and wholesale.
We lost our lease, but are currently looking for another location, and will be continuing our catering, custom cake and wholesale business during this time.

Original Sin Desserts Bakery Cafe is pleased to announce that it has received Green Business Certification. The Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program has recognized Original Sin for "exceeding environmental regulatory requirements, preventing pollution, and conserving natural resources." To date, Original Sin is the only bakery in Santa Cruz County to be Green Certified.

Original Sin Desserts hosted the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting & Mixer. There were sweet & savory samplings from Original Sin Desserts Bakery & Deli Menu, as well as Wine Tasting from Soquel Vineyards.
